We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Automotive Dealership Warranty Assistant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations related to warranty claims and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Warranty Claims Processing:
- Efficiently manage warranty claims submission, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Scanning documents.
- Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and manufacturers to gather necessary information for claim processing.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of warranty claims, ensuring compliance with dealership and manufacturer requirements.
- Reconciling factory statements.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries related to warranty performance.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with the Service and Parts departments to coordinate the resolution of warranty issues.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in warranty claim procedures and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Stay informed about manufacturer warranty policies and updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in automotive technology or administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role within an automotive dealership environment is a bonus but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office. Dealership management systems a plus.
