We are looking for an EXPERIENCEDSERVICE ADVISOR for our fast-growing transmission repair facility here in Houston, TX.
This is a full-time position for a strong candidate who has at least 3 years of experience working for a professional auto repair business as a Service Advisor (transmission knowledge/experience preferred but not required). We offer highly competitive compensation to match your skills that includes a strong compensation package that ranges from $25 - $30/hour based on skills and experience.

Our Service Advisor is the interface between the customer and the technician and is responsible for pulling everyone together as a team.
Service advisors are powerful salespeople at the front counter! Not only do they sell service, but they own the customer experience.
=>WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE<=
1. Open the business, organize, and write up drop off vehicles, follow up on work status in the shop.
2. Answer phones, address customer's needs, direct calls to the correct person, take messages.
3. Schedule customer’s vehicles, verify upcoming appointments, follow up on missed appointments.
4. Manage workflow, assign technicians work, follow up on that work and keep work constantly moving in the shop.
5. Write estimates for well-planned work that will benefit our customers and can be performed properly and efficiently with high quality results.
6. Sell Automotive Service, parts, repairs, and diagnostics.
7. Build positive relationships with other staff members, supervisors, customers, and vendors.
8. Organize and maintain all aspects of work in a timely manner to maximize production and efficiency. This will include: estimates, sales, workflow, arranging deliveries, assigning work, and other job related responsibilities.
9. Make sure the schedule is always full by reaching out to customers via internal marketing.
10. Close down procedures.

· Excellent customer service and sales skills (outgoing / friendly / accommodating / people oriented / solution focused).
· The ability to listen to customer concerns and convert them into written instructions for technicians.
· A strong customer satisfaction focus will be your highest priority.
· A bias toward action. You will love to pick up the phone and drive business.
· Must work well with a diverse client base, technicians, and coworkers.
· Must be a team player!
· Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
· A strong automotive background. Bring your automotive skills and knowledge and hit the ground running!
· Applicants should have the ability to type well, be technically minded, proficient with modern technology and forms of communication, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
· Must be comfortable presenting customers with options and educating them to make the best decision based on their vehicle and situation.
