Suburban Subaru is looking for an experienced Automotive Receptionist/ Phone Operator who demonstrates strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing efficient and accurate service. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, promoting our services and providing a professional brand experience for our customers. The Automotive Receptionist/ Phone Operator will be responsible for answering and responding to incoming calls, scanning, completing customer surveys, and performing administrative functions.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The compensation for this role is hourly pay (based on experience) with an estimated annual income of $32,500 to $40,000 per year, paid biweekly with a monthly commission opportunity. Benefits include paid holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k plan, employee discounts, and paid training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing excellent customer service to clients, face-to-face and via telephone.
- Answering and responding to all incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Scanning paperwork for Sales, Service, and Parts
- Maintaining accurate client records
- Complete Sold customer follow-up and Service surveys
- Crosstrain for main front desk, including but not limited to, processing payments.
- Completing administrative tasks as required
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in customer service
- Prior experience on a multi-line telephone
- Knowledge of sales, customer service, and administrative processes
- Familiarity with dealership software- Vinsolutions, Automate and Xtime are a plus
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
- Strong telephone etiquette
- Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Must be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks
