Spearhead the technical direction and execution for V&V, functional safety, and systems engineering within our Automotive Solutions and Services practice.
Responsibilities:
* Define and implement comprehensive V&V (HIL/SIL/MIL/XIL/Simulation/Test Automation) and functional safety strategies and solutions across projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Oversee the execution of V&V and functional safety processes, leading activities like hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation plan development.
* Champion systems engineering methodologies, guiding projects from concept to production with a focus on system-wide optimization and integration.
* Provide in-depth technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring seamless integration of V&V and functional safety considerations throughout the development lifecycle.
* Stay at the forefront of industry trends and standards in V&V, functional safety, and systems engineering, actively seeking and proposing innovative solutions.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
* Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, sharing expertise and fostering thought leadership.
Qualifications:
* 15+ years of progressive experience in automotive V&V, functional safety, and systems engineering.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex technical projects with HIL, SIL, MIL, XIL, Simulation and Test Automation. Ability to build and manage test benches
* In-depth understanding of industry standards and regulations related to V&V and functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262, ASIL).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential risks and issues.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, effective in both technical and non-technical environments.
* Strategic thinking and a collaborative approach, fostering cross-functional teamwork and knowledge sharing.
