We are currently seeking a skilled individual , highly proficient in Excel, who will report to the Director of Automotive Operations and be responsible for the sale of packaging materials, equipment, and related supplies to meet sales and gross profit goals for automotive OEMs and Tier 1 & 2 suppliers.
The ideal candidate understands the market dynamics, automotive-specific trends, and landscapes to bring new insights and solutions to grow IPS Packaging & Automation's Automotive Business.

- Identify high value leads and potential partners within the automotive industry; develop strategies alongside the sales team for converting those connections into productive relationships.
- Lead negotiations alongside the sales team to resolve disagreements, dead stock, past due invoices, contracts and amendments with automotive customers.
- Evaluate product and service offering; recommend enhancements necessary to scale the automotive channel.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team members to help respond to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
- Assist the Sales team and Purchasing department to negotiate deviated costs and special pricing in accordance with current pricing procedures and policies
