Form of workScott Auto Group is hiring an Automotive Accounting Clerk for our dealership located in Springfield Pennsylvania. This position is an important role in our Automotive Accounting office. What You'll Do:
- Receive and process paperwork from the Sales, Parts and Service Departments.
- Post vehicle sales and purchases.
- Prepare checks for payoffs, referrals, refunds, etc.
- Cost and finalize deals to accounting.
- Prepare, submit and monitor funding of bank contracts.
- New and Used vehicle inventory
- Analyze accounts, general journal entry and schedule reconciliation.
- Effectively present information to customers or dealership personnel for approval.
- Maintain reports and/or logs of daily new and used deal activity.
- Work under pressure in a fast paced, high volume atmosphere.
- Ability to multitask.
- Filing, scanning documents and answering phones as needed.
- Microsoft excel, word and outlook experience required
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Perform various other accounting responsibilities and business requirements as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years Automotive Dealership Accounting Experience is Required
- DealerTrack DMS experience is preferred
- Excellent work ethic
- High integrity
- Willingness to learn and take ownership
