JOB TITLE: Automation Specialist
LOCATION: Dallas, Austin, or Round Rock, Texas 
DURATION: 12 months
RATE RANGE: $50/hr. - $60/hr.

SUMMARY:

Seeking skilled and enthusiastic software engineers to assist in the automation of our telecommunications test equipment utilizing the capability TM500 and TeraVM products.
Testing of 5G/4G (e.g., RAN, QoS, WPS and Mobile Core), Cybersecurity of Firewalls/VPNS
TM500 is a mobile phone / device emulator. Target market segments are Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs), Service Providers, Major Enterprises and Government organizations.
TeraVM tests and validates network topologies, systems, and devices by generating control and user plane traffic, emulating vRAN and core nodes. Statistics and key performance indicators are provided to validate the functionality and performance of RAN and Core systems under test.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding clients' internal processes and positioning products to meet their requirements, working towards a fully automated testing methodology.
• Building and maintaining technical relationships with the end clients.
• Test Automation Solution Planning and Estimation. Enhancing existing test automation frameworks.
• Leading test automation planning, improving existing test automation frameworks, working with onshore and offshore teams.
• Development of reusable test cases and keywords using Robot & Python or similar languages, to test various call flows across the 5G/4G/3G Domain.
• Strong debugging and failure analysis capability and reporting of defects using JIRA/QC.
• Automation integration; Implementation of End-to-End Test Automation Tools & Strategies.
• Definition of testing standards & process improvement through effective project management.
• Execution of automated test cases and manual test execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years' experience of testing and test automation projects in the telecommunications domain, including QA, Automation, Performance, planning, assessments.
• Creating test case automation frameworks / integration clients' automation framework.
• Strong experience of developing test scripts using Robot/Python or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience in automation and integration technologies / tools such as Jenkins, GIT & Jira
• Automation Strategy, optimization Production readiness/ Go-No Go criteria; understanding of potential benefits of Client/AI to augment such procedures.
• Understanding of and experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Experience testing various call flows across Telecom 5G/4G/3G Domain.
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools.
• Docker and Container Orchestration frameworks, such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of O-RAN technologies and the application of automation of Interoperability Testing (IOT).
