Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation systems using mainly AutoCAD, and other software tools
- Program and troubleshoot logic controllers and robotics systems (mainly FANUC)
- Create detailed schematics and documentation for automation projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions
- Fabricate and assemble mechanical components for automation systems
- Conduct testing and validation of automation systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical support and training to end-users of automation equipment
Required Skills
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (electrical and inventor), and other design software
- Experience with robot programming and logic controllers (PLC)
- Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to fabricate components
- Electrical knowledge and ability to create schematics
- Familiarity with machining processes and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
