Job Summary Teach a variety of instructional objectives and courses related to Industrial Automation at Mesa Community College.

This program leads to certifications and a AAS degrees in Automated Industrial Technology. Courses include, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanical, Industrial Electrical, Motor Control, AC/DC Motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Process Control and Robotics. Demonstrates a commitment to service excellence, innovation, student success, integrity, and diversity in the performance of job duties.

Additional Information Note: Most Automated Industrial Technology (AIT) courses are four (4) to five (5) load hours Available classes to be staffed are: AIT105 Modern Maintenance Operations AIT110 Mechanical Power Transmission Systems AIT115 Hydraulic Systems AIT120 Pneumatic Systems AIT125 DC and AC Components and Circuits AIT205 Power Electronics and Variable Frequency Drives AIT210 Programmable Logic Controller Programming and Troubleshooting AIT215 Process Control Systems AIT225 Industrial Motors and Motor Control AIT270 Robotics I (Universal Robots) AIT275 Robotics II (FANUC Robots) Additional Information Applicants who currently work for any of the MCCCD campuses/locations should utilize their HCM Employee Self Service page to apply for jobs by logging in to HCM and clicking on NavBar > Navigator > Self Service > Recruiting > Careers. Use the following link for instructions on how to apply: https://maricopa.learn.taleo.net/files/upload/tts/hcm/Employee_Self-Service/InternalApplicantQRG.pdf Minimum Qualifications The Occupational Teaching Fields require the following from an accredited college or university: A Master's degree in the teaching field OR A Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate credits in the teaching field OR A Master's degree in any field with a combination of 24 upper division and/or graduate credits in the teaching field (Upper-division courses are Junior and Senior level courses in obtaining a Bachelor's degree) OR A Bachelor's degree and three years of occupational experience in the field to be taught OR Five years of occupational experience in the field to be taught OR A Journeyman certification in the field to be taught Desired Qualifications Five (5) years' work experience in industrial automation Previous experience with teaching, training or extensive delivering technical presentations Demonstrated excellence in communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications Previous experience with an online LMS (Canvas) How to Apply Applicants are required to submit unofficial transcripts, resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a cover letter showing how the applicant meets the minimum and desired qualifications.
