The Vaden family owns and operates eleven dealerships in the coastal region of GA and SC. Responsibilities - General Sales Manager:
- Responsible for the success and profitability of vehicle sales, sales team management, and more.
- Hire, train and manage a high-performance sales team
- Drive sales and produce results
- Desk deals
- Manage used car inventory levels and days in stock
- Appraise and buy cars
- Purchase used cars
- Manage certified pre-owned program
- Work with the Parts & Service Director to shepherd used cars through reconditioning
- Coordinate sales of all wholesale vehicles
- Order new vehicles
- Monitor contracts in transit lists
Qualifications - General Sales Manager:
- GSM / SM experience is required, General Motors experience is preferred
- A goal-oriented self-starter with strong leadership, management, and sales skills
- Proven track record as a floor manager and a strong closer
- Able to drive sales and produce results
- Self-motivated with a passion to achieve high standards
- Team builder
- Outgoing with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Computer proficient and good social media skills
- Finance experience is helpful
- Proficient in computing and quoting sales price
- Understands dealership operations including all aspects of sales and finance
- Professional appearance
- Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service - before, during and after a sale
- Valid driver's license and insurance
