Auto Damage Appraiser

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Appraiser to join our team. As an Auto Appraiser, you will be responsible for assessing the value of vehicles and determining the cost of repairs. Your expertise in auto restoration, service writing, and auto body repair will be essential in accurately appraising vehicles. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damages and determine repair costs
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to analyze vehicle conditions and identify necessary repairs
- Prepare detailed estimates for repairs, including parts, labor, and materials
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters, customers, and repair shops to negotiate fair settlements
- Review repair invoices to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in auto estimating software
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly

Experience:
- Proven experience as an Auto Appraiser or in a related role such as auto service management or automotive service
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and industry standards
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess damages accurately
- Proficient in negotiating fair settlements with insurance adjusters and repair shops
- Solid understanding of auto estimating software and tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
