POSITION SUMMARY

The RBT Floater will provide clinic-based services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder for Key Autism Services. This position will work in one assigned center, providing coverage on an as-needed basis for planned absences, emergency absences, or to assist in starting new clients. The RBT Floater will also be trained on the BT training curriculum, to potentially assist in providing clinical training based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to other BTs within the center, as scheduled by the Director of Training when needed.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions for clients needing coverage between the hours of 8am-6pm M-F, as requested (planned or last-minute emergency coverage).
  • Demonstrate professionalism with colleagues, supervisors, and families; including, but not limited to, dress code, timeliness, and communication (oral and written).
  • Demonstrate reliability by responding to all coverage requests (e.g., text, email, call, Teams) upon receipt of request to ensure gaps in services for clients are minimized.
  • Utilize skills to be able to read and implement various Behavior Intervention Plans and programming and to quickly adapt to different client ages and behavioral needs.
  • Demonstrate above-average competency in Rethink functionality to read and understand multiple styles of client programming and behavior plans.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, as schedules, supervising BCBAs, and client profiles will frequently change.
  • Engage in frequent communication with supervising BCBAs to ensure monthly supervision requirements are met for RBT credential maintenance.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be RBT Credentialed
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field
  • At least 6 months of employment with Key Autism Services, including excellent performance reviews and treatment integrity scores
  • Recommendation from BCBA(s) on current case(s)
  • BACB Supervision Program recommended, not required.
