Responsibilities:Seeking a customer experience driven personality to join our team as an Audio/Visual Engineer (not an Audio/Visual tech or conference room tech) supporting our Enterprise Video Services team at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). This role will interact with GSFC CSO, GSFC PAO, and GSFC Project customers to gather requirements and determine technical implementation strategy. This role should be a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge of Broadcast Video and Satellite transmission issues and trends. Utilizes functional area expertise gained through direct industry experience to assess the operational and functional baseline of product lines, businesses, sites and/or operations. This position requires a results-oriented individual with exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills to help us deliver both program and customer facing metric data and analysis.

Senior-level systems engineering support.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
- Provides analysis related to the design,development, and integration of cloud, hardware, software, man-machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
- Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices and systems.
- Directs overall system level testing
Qualifications:Required Skills:
- Bachelors' Degree and 8 years of experience
Must be experienced with the following:
- Install and manage switches, recorders, monitors, and character generators in a master control environment.
- Perform RF (C and Ku-band) analysis and testing.
- Manage multitude of video sources including Standard Definition, High Definition, Ultra High Definition (UHD), and RGB.
- Maintain Satellite antenna as well as Over the Air VHF and UHF antenna.
- Install and maintain Cable TV technology and associated technology such as encoders and decoders.
- Manage projects in a multi-disciplined environment to include technical, schedule, and budget.
Other Pertinent Info:
- Knowledge of digital video content delivery methods, architecture, and technology
- Knowledge of structured cabling systems, using both copper and fiber infrastructure
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and co-worker
