Essential Duties and Responsibilities
OUR COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR EXCEPTIONAL INDIVIDUALS WHO MUST BE CAPABLE OF PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING TASKS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Audio Visual Operations and Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing professional, effective and knowledgeable AV/VTC support to the Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC). The Technician will work closely with MARSOC personnel to operate & maintain multiple AV/VTC systems and infrastructures. The AV/VTC Technician will perform AV/VTC new equipment installation, cabling, testing, training, and if necessary troubleshooting procedures to diagnose and correct issues with the AV/VTC systems and infrastructures in a timely manner. The AV/VTC Technician must have a thorough understanding of Crestron AV systems and Cisco VTC systems. The AV/VTC Technician must have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with peers and non-technical customers in the performance of daily duties.
- The AV/VTC Technician will be responsible for coordinating all daily activities for themselves and additional AV/VTC and IT network support staff members.
- The AV/VTC Technician will develop and maintain a system of record to track all incoming service calls to include problem and issue resolution and make the systems of record readily available to Action Technology Services Management personnel, Prime contractor Leadership and Government Customers upon request.
- The AV/VTC Technician will develop and maintain a periodic maintenance schedule for all MARSOC AV/VTC systems. Following approval, the AV/VTC Technician will perform periodic maintenance IAW the approved schedule.
- The AV/VTC Technician will work remotely with frequent commutes to the MARSOC Campus, except on government holidays and PTO.
- As required, the AV/VTC Technician will meet with the Action Tech Project Manager and government personnel to discuss trending issues, workarounds, break fix actions, programming issues, hardware issues and system performance issues. The AV/VTC Technician makes recommendations to solve existing issues and prevent future issues.
- The AV/VTC Technician provides configuration management of the installed AV systems and performs any updates required to include systems documentation management.
- When necessary, the AV/VTC Technician works with Crestron programmers and AV/VTC engineers to modify existing AV/VTC systems, software and infrastructures.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

- Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Word.
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 5 years of AV/VTC control system support experience (Can be a combination of Design, Installation, Programming, Operation, Maintenance & Sustainment).
- Experience with control systems, videoconferencing, switching hardware, audio DSP/DMP setup and calibration.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, addressing, firewalls, routers, and VPN.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
The preferred candidate will have Crestron or other AV system programming experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
