Job Summary
Primary responsibilities include operation of all Audio Visual (AV) support resources for Conference Solutions. Collaborate professionally with Conference Solutions staff, Compass employees and other departments to service all AV technical support requests for events. The AV Technician will serve as the onsite AV point person and coordinator for assigned events.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Wells Fargo venues with AUDIO VISUAL equipment, setup, monitoring and trouble shooting
  • Rehearsals-technical and client run-thoughts priors to events
  • Coordinate broadcasts and gather all logistics for event
  • Provide Knowledgeable on all Connections site information; able to answer questions and/or research information regarding specific Connections locations
  • Monitor security procedures within Wells Fargo guidelines and policies
  • Oversee maintenance and installation of AUDIO VISUAL equipment (i.e. Auditorium screen research and installations)
  • Complete annual review of AV equipment life span and conditional as pertains to budgeting and forecasting needs
  • Master calendar-consolidation and distribution - Manage the Special Events email inbox
  • Responsible for responding and processing all incoming room requests specific to their Connections region and assists with other regions as needed
  • Enter Resource Scheduler reservations into booking system and Outlook.
  • Manages, responds and triages all e-mails that arrive in the shared Connections inbox, allocating site specific e-ails to their correct sub-folders
  • Answers the Connections phone line and assists in answering questions or warm transferring customers to the appropriate phone number
  • Handles meeting room bookings, utilizing reservation system (Resource Scheduler) and focuses on strategic assignment of meeting space to maximize utilization
  • Sends initial confirmations to customers to confirm basic details of their meetings including meeting time, dates, initial participant counts, room set-up, and catering details
  • Communicates and assists customers with reservation process including how to book space, reservation window, and other direct access resources such as SpaceFinder, Guardian and Video Conferencing
  • Ability to quickly identify escalation points of reservations in regards to Special events, Meeting and Events, Multi-City events
  • Modifies reservations as needed/and or requested by Connections customers
  • Processes cancellations in a timely fashion, reaching out for cancellation reason as needed
  • Delivers consistent customer interactions across e-mail, instant messaging and phone utilizing uniform terminology, consistent e-mail templates and standardized workflow processes

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years in project management and coordination experience
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with customer friendly communications
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office product suit (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge in technical/audiovisual equipment including Zoom, Teams, Skype
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and make decisions when faced with ambiguity
  • Ability to adapt quickly and change and maintain a flexible approach when providing customer support
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend hours
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Work experience with reservation software programs- Resource Scheduler a plus
  • Communications, Event Planning or Hospitality Background
