The primary responsibility of the Attendant Linen-Housekeeping is to receive all clean linen and load all dirty linen into the linen trucks daily, maintain and distribute all hotel linen. Must clean linen and service towels to be distributed to hotel personnel. Must inspect condition of linen and resolve discrepancies
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. This is a safety-related position.
- Provide unmatched service to guests at all times.
- Provide accurate directions and information for guest inquiries and is knowledgeable about all aspects of the Venetian Resort’s services, features, attractions, promotions and special events.
- Complete Laundry Control Log.
- Receive clean linen and distribute to floors as prescribed and sort dirty linen as required.
- Check invoices upon linen return.
- Distribute linen to linen lockers in the towers.
- Distribute linen to floor attendants.
- Sort dirty linen.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation & organization of assigned work areas; coordinate pickup of soiled hotel linen & delivery of cleaned hotel linen received from service company; inspect condition, charges and amount of cleaned hotel linen received from service company; resolve any discrepancies; organize & stock all clean hotel linen in designated areas, shelves; remove substandard hotel linens from circulating inventory.

- 18 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- Minimum 6 months experience as floor attendant or similar experience with a four star property.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to:
- Lift or carry 75 pounds and push/pull 325 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
- Involves working under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold); outdoors/indoors; around dust or mite hazards.
- Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
- Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
