Attendant Care Worker

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in need, including meal preparation, personal hygiene assistance, and medication administration.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and positive environment.
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, following HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with lifting and transferring patients as needed.

Skills:
- Experience in meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for individuals in care.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors.
- Knowledge of social work systems and resources to provide comprehensive support.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care and respond to individual needs.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols, under the supervision of a nurse.
- Understanding of nursing home regulations and best practices for resident care.
- Adherence to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Physical strength and ability to lift and transfer patients safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
