The ASU Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, structural and piping systems is performed as necessary to achieve the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the air separation plants. The Maintenance Technician may also be required to perform the duties of a Plant Operator as needed to cover vacations, sick time, etc.
This position reports directly to the ASU Plant Manager.

High School Diploma and a 2year Technical Degree or equivalent industry experience
Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with compressors (centrifugal, reciprocating, screw), pumps, valves and expanders desired.Proficient in the safe operation of general hand and power tools. Welding skills a plus.Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators and torque wrenches.Strong mechanical aptitude and basic pipe fitting skills.Ability to read and interpret process diagrams, wiring schematics, technical drawings and equipment manuals. Ability to utilize these skills to trouble shoot and evaluate equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective action.Basic knowledge of electricity, motors and electrical systems. The ability to use a digital multimeter in troubleshooting low voltage systems.Good verbal and written communication skills.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Experience with the implementation and administration of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
