Associate / Vice President, Business Management - Banking and Corporate Finance (BCF) - Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) is seeking a Business ManagementAssociate / Vice President to support the Banking & Corporate Finance (BCF) group. The Business Management team acts as a trusted partner and advisor to the business and senior management by developing business strategies, driving execution and implementation of business initiatives and priorities. The team is responsible for coordination and delivery of all required finance, strategy, and business support. The team acts in partnership with U.S. and global areas to execute a cohesive strategy across Finance, HR, Compliance, Marketing, and product teams in CIB.
Responsibility:
- Work directly with industry teams on development of sector reviews, pipeline management, and revenue reconciliation
- Prepare presentations for senior management for business reviews, offsites, and meetings
- Define and develop analytical approach to complex issues
- Leads special projects/initiatives that are of strategic importance for the function or business unit
- Analyze industry data and trends to provide insights to management and industry groups
- Manage monthly reporting and provide analysis of financials and pipeline for the group
- Manage annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts and annual strategic plans
- Ensure compliance requests are completed in a timely manner
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to determine and report priorities/metrics to senior management
- Knowledge and understanding of banking industry, products, and services
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree and/or work experience in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
Work Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in Business Management
- Prior experience at a large financial institution or consulting firm
- 5-9+ years of work experience

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $78,076-$160,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
