Associate Veterinarian

Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality veterinary care for a small animal practice.
- Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative care
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide comprehensive care
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of pet care and veterinary critical care
- Experience with laboratory procedures and interpreting test results
- Skilled in animal restraint techniques for safe handling during examinations and procedures
- Time management and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license to practice in Texas
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to work in a busy and fun private practice

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
