Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes or healthcare facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Medication reminders
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper manuvering techniques
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of senior care practices and principles
- Familiarity with social work principles and resources for seniors
-- Understanding of nursing home or hospice care procedures is a plus
- Proficient in taking vital signs and documenting them accurately
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
