BNP Paribas is focused on growing the Global Equities platform, including the expansion of U.S. Equity Research.

Responsibilities:
Equity Research Analysts provide formal independent investment recommendations to advisory clients via published reports and financial models. Their internal and external communication takes the form of written research reports, personal conversations and meetings, and media appearances.
The Associate will focus on supporting the coverage of the Beverages / Household & Personal Care sector in the U.S. The Associate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Equity Research Analyst in building, reviewing and maintaining financial databases and models, analyzing company and industry data, building an investment thesis, publishing investment-driven research reports and notes, and meeting with corporates, investors, media outlets as well as internally within the business.
The Associate will be expected to support the growth in coverage as part of the overall strategy to expand the footprint of BNP Paribas Exane Research in the U.S. The Associate will have exposure to corporates’ management, investor conferences, analyst days and own the process of utilizing the available resources to make an investment recommendation. The Associate in conjunction with the Senior Equity Research Analyst will also work with teams within the firm, such as corporate access, research sales, specialist sales and trading.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field of study
- 2-5 years of experience in sell-side or buy-side financial stock analysis
- Ability to analyze financial reports and business performance models
- Expertise on using market data tools, such as FactSet, Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ
- Detailed knowledge with financial modeling, stock analysis and valuation using Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- CFA, CPA or international equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience in financial stock analysis in the Beverages / Household & Personal Care sector.
FINRA Registrations Required:
- SIE, Series 63, 86, 87

The expected starting salary range for this position in New York is between $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
