Associate Therapist (Amft, Apcc, Acsw)

Liana Shapiro-Lee, LMFT, APC is a psychotherapy private practice in Monterey that has been in operation since 2017.

This recruitment is for a Part time position with opportunity to expand to Full time.

4 positions are available.

Positions include both remote and/or in-person

Typical Tasks

• Perform Assessment, Treatment Planning, and Psychotherapy with individual clients, couples, families, and/or groups;

• Maintain organized and up-to-date client files with treatment plan utilizing SOAP Notes

• Submit and follow up with insurance claims (if applicable).

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Master's degree that qualifies for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Clinical Counselor by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, such as Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Child Development and Family Studies, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling.

• Applicants must have a registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and maintain current registration in good standing until license is received.

• High Speed Internet access.

• Pass a background screening.

• Reliable transportation to attend In Person appointments.
