Position Intro:
Reporting to the Capcom USA (CUSA) Senior Events Manager, this position provides technical support for all CUSA events both digital and physical. Manages Capcom event hardware inventory, provides technical documentation and setup steps, and tracks equipment out in the field.
Handles install of pre-release and release builds onsite and in the office for all event setups. Researches new software and hardware solutions in an ever changing environment as requested by CUSA Senior Event Manager. Consults with CUSA Senior Event Manager to plan, research and document technical elements of projects and solve technical problems before, during and after each event. Manages all aspects of the acquisition and maintenance of hardware equipment for all of our digital streams and physical events. Researches, tracks and reports on digital and physical events.
The scope of technical event management support may consist of, but not limited to setting up demos for physical events, onsite testing, QA, and press review. Performs the same level of technical review, analysis and set up for all event types whether they are physical events or digital streaming events.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for all CUSA events both physical events and digital streams. Provides know-how and problem solving on a wide spectrum of technical matters related to video game presentations using both release and pre-release versions.
- Manage hardware inventory including acquisition of new, as well as preparation, shipping and tracking of allocated event hardware to event sites.
- Setup and maintain a secure network environment for both in-office and onsite event setups
- Consult with CUSA Senior Event Manager to plan technical elements of projects and solve technical problems before, during and after each event autonomously.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to the CUSA Senior Event Manager with respect to logistics, scheduling and related administrative services and with the materials needed to ensure the best presentation possible of our games at both physical and digital streaming events.
- Manage all aspects of the acquisition and maintenance of event hardware equipment. Including but not limited to ordering, receiving inventory and securely sending it to offsite locations. Independently and solely responsible for tracking the inventory and usage production assets for the Product Operations Dept.
- Manage inventory software and ensure that changes in status are communicated to CUSA Senior Event Manager in a timely and complete manner.
- Analyze the event’s objectives and establish the technical needs and equipment required to successfully accomplish the organization’s goals.
- Catalog analyzes project specifications, and allocate the required equipment as well as acquire additional resources required for all events.
- Responsible for preparing and sending the development equipment to events.
- Set up the development equipment on site autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Independently collect, review, and compile information and data used for the preparation of executive summary reports. Provide analysis and recommendations for Capcom to stay up to date on current events and takeaways to be considered for implementation for future events.
- Independently analyze technical specifications for set ups and then draft and maintain technical setup guides. Maintain Event’s ‘Technical Knowledge Base’ Confluence page to make these resources available to all key stakeholders.

Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of technical support experience as a QA Lead, AV Lead, or in IT Desktop Support.
- Able to configure PC and console (both development and release) hardware and software.
- Advanced knowledge of network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with PC (both desktop and laptop), all modern game consoles and portable handheld game systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to express game issues.
- Working knowledge of 1st Party portals, tools, release and pre-release hardware including PCs
- Networking Infrastructure and Architecture
- Able to setup networking equipment to facilitate event and testing needs.
- Able to troubleshoot networking issues both in the office as well as a live environment.
- Working knowledge of MS Windows and other operating Systems.
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in JIRA, Confluence and Wrike.
- Working experience with Asset Panda or other logistic/inventory software is a plus.
Education:
- College degree majoring in Computer Science preferred but not required.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel to industry events is required. (20% domestic travel)
Licenses, Certifications, and Others:
- Valid CA Driver’s License required.
Physical Demands:
This position, at times, requires the following: climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and repetitive motions.
This position occasionally requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force to move Pallets or push carts.
Physical effort is required at times for warehouse inventory, allocating physical resources to on-site teams, or transportation of hardware to and from off-site warehouse.

Salary Range:
$75,000 - $95,000 (Compensation for this position will be determined based on relevant factors including, but not limited to, education, experience, skills, and qualifications.)
