Associate Systems Engineer 4885

As Associate Systems Engineer you'll be passionate about Applications, Servers, and Infrastructure security and modernization. You will provide network and systems administration for all customer locations. This individual reports to the customer project manager and is responsible for ensuring the continuity of systems operations.

What you'll do:

• Serve as a liaison between customer (managers) and related Enterprise Services such as Change, Release, Problem, Incident, Computer Operations, Logistics and Enterprise Systems Support
• Recommends and implements appropriate level systems and database solutions and enhancements to ensure an improvement in system reliability and performance.
• Appropriate support packages/patches to maintain system integrity.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of appropriate systems and information security documentation to ensure that documentation is current.
• Interacts with customers to document problems, recommend solutions and aid on the implementation of solutions with team members.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor (4-year) degree or equivalent
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
• 2+ years managing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows systems in a cloud environment.
• 1-3 years' experience managing Active Directory Objects and basic troubleshooting including group policy objects.
• Experience working with vendors to design, configure and maintain new network, storage and virtual machines.
• Experience installing operating systems from scratch and creating standardized operating system images which can be used across multiple hardware platforms.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot third party applications on virtual or physical machines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Enthusiasm, personality, teamwork, and a positive attitude count tremendously
