Northrop Grumman's Space Systems - Propulsion Division is looking for an Associate Structural/ Structural Engineer to join our team at our Promontory, UT facility with options to fill at Bacchus (Magna) or Clearfield UT .

Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Analyzes, researches and develops Structural Engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs.

+ Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific Structural Engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis.

+ Tools utilized may include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution

+ Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree

+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)

+ Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Education:

+ BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering and 0 years of experience

+ Position can be filled one level higher, 2 years with a BS, or 0 years of experience with a MS

Salary Range: $58,800 - $88,200

Salary Range 2: $71,100 - $106,700

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
