Broadridge is hiring! We currently have an opening for an Associate Software Engineer specializing in Java based out of either our Edgewood or New York offices. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity for you to join our growing team supporting our cloud-based marketing solution and services offering supporting wealth and asset managers.
We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.
Job Description Primary Responsibilities:
Develops, tests, debugs and implements code for existing and/or new applications and/or systems.
Responsible for the analysis of project requirements and the development of technical specifications.
Performs unit and systems testing of applications/solutions.
Works with users and QA to perform Quality Assurance testing of applications and resolves all reported defects/issues.
Uses product specifications to create system documentation and train the end user as required.
Responsible for all procedural and code documentation on assigned projects.
Has experience with all phases of application programming.
Demonstrates knowledge in the software implementation lifecycle and specific programming languages.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
0-3 years experience within a programming and applications system environment, which includes the following Core Skills: Java, JDBC, Servlet, JSP
Languages: Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Java Script OS: Windows (all), UNIX/Linux Solaris, AIX flavors. App Servers: Tomcat, WebSphere.
Compensation Range:The salary range for this position is between $70,000- $78,000.Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
