Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate, Senior Project Manager, to join our growing Team at Introba. As the Associate, Senior. Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the medical equipment planning project lifecycle, from project kick-off, planning/design process, procurement, and logistics all the way through to project activation and go-live. The candidate will lead and manage multiple complex healthcare projects and possesses excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and organized. The incumbent maintains a proven track record of success effectively managing scope, schedule and budget for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional client service, this individual will have a critical role in the overall success of the medical equipment planning divison.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for your time management and meeting agreed deadlines set by the team. You will also be accountable for the self-development of your career and actively learning from others, taking advantage of formal training and development, applying relevant academic or industry knowledge, and asking for help when needed.
Project Management:
  • Serve as liaison between Client and internal team to manage and communicate objectives, opportunities, and issues to deliver a successful project. This includes written project documentation during all phases of the project (Design and Construction)
  • Be a proactive resource to project teams in their decision-making processes and in the development of sound and innovative solutions.
  • Represent the firm by attending meetings and presentation and collaborate with MEQ Leadership on resource management for assigned projects.
  • Responsible for managing scope, schedule and budget of assigned projects, including achieving project profitability with parameters specified by the firm and targeted for each project.
  • Effectively plan, organize, communicate and maintain schedules for all disciplines, establishing critical project objectives and performances.
  • Effectively maintain project planning and budgeting reports
  • Collaborating with project accountants to monitor financial aspects of projects, including forecasting, invoicing, and timely AR collection.
Business Development:
  • Client development, maintenance, and management.
  • Compiling and writing fee proposals and participating in project interviews. Initiate or assist in contract preparation and negotiation.
Travel:
  • Travels to project sites to support responsibilities as needed.
Professional Development:
  • Develops knowledge of medical equipment devices and systems and their applications and allocations within healthcare facilities and for direct patient care.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry practices including hospital and clinic procedures and department functions.
  • Implements Continuous Improvement activities to identify lessons learned and adjust process.
Key Skill Requirements/Accountabilities / Demonstratable Skills
  • Understands and works to meet project schedule timelines.
  • Working familiarity with Bluebeam.
  • Conducts efficient and effective meetings.
  • Knowledge of basic and intermediate medical equipment and its’ application within healthcare facilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, organize and analyze data with strong attention to detail.
  • Possess strong organization and multitasking skills.
  • Computer proficiency required including spreadsheets and database.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify coordination issues.
  • Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with accessible company information.
Qualifications
  • Qualified candidates Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, architecture, construction or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management
  • Highly organized, task driven, and able to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail is required, as are excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Project Experience
The Associate, Senior Project Manager has the same responsibilities as the MEQ Project Manager and these additional responsibilities and experience:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a challenging multi-project workload.
  • This candidate has successfully demonstrated all competencies and completed several large multidisciplinary healthcare facilities throughout their tenure.
  • Initiates and participates in medical equipment planning process improvement activities.
  • Proven experience in planning, organizing, administering, coordinating, reviewing, evaluating and personally participating effectively in the management of equipment design, procurement, and installation in healthcare construction projects.
