Position Title:Associate RF Engineer Intern

Role
This intern role provides you with the opportunity to be part of the RF Engineering venue team in the South region. Learning the basics of RF surveys, RF Design, propagation tools, analysis of empirical data for model tuning, fiber distributed antenna system architecture for major public venues, system commissioning and troubleshooting. You will learn to use software tools such as iBwave and ATOLL to produce preliminary designs. And learn how to use equipment for RF data collection and validation such as RF scanners, spectrum analyzers and continuous wave transmitters.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation of 3D models for in building venues
- Assist with carrier macro data collection efforts
- Collaborate in creation of templates and standards for project deliverables
- Assist with DAS commissioning efforts and project turnup activities
- Assist with CW testing activities for DL/UL path verification
- Assist with project deliverables inclusive of:
- BOMS, GIS coordinate entries, RF propagation predictions , PIM & Sweep MOPs and data review

Education/Certifications
Education requirements are market-based and determined by the scope of the role. The Summer Internship
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2026
- Preferred field(s) of study:
- Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Computer Science
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 3 to August 9, 2024
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship
Reportsto: Manager, RF Engineering
Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
