How you will make an impact:

The Associate R&D Engineer will be responsible for assisting senior R&D team members with challenging projects, and contribute in various aspects of projects; from the development and design stage to scale-up.

• Design fixtures and modify equipment to produce membranes and bioprocessing products.
• Test materials properties and resolve issues to improve processes and material selection.
• Control processes, track process parameters and assist in implementing control strategies.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

• Bachelor of Sc. or Eng. in a relevant discipline: Chemistry, Materials Science/Engineering, mechanical Eng., Chemical Eng., Biomechanical Eng.
• Self-motivated, curious, driven to accomplishments and results, relentless solution finder.
• Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, statistical analysis skills.
• Knowledge of basic instrumentation required for polymer characterization and mechanical analysis of materials.

US BASE PAY SCALE $78,100 - $90,800

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
