Höganäs in North America is seeking an Associate Project Engineer for its production facility located in Johnstown, PA.
About the position
Assists with Project Engineering management for various assignments. In addition, provides engineering support to Production, Maintenance, and Quality in reducing operating costs, increasing productivity, reducing labor intensive operations, and improving quality. Provides support in capital investment projects.
- Evaluates and provides justification, specifications, and scope of work, design drawings, P & I diagrams, bidding, scheduling, supervision, startup, and commissioning of assigned projects.
- Supports all facilities and departments in the areas of technical expertise in the fields including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, automation, and process engineering.
- Supports in CAPEX preparation activities.
- Arranges outside contractors to perform work at the facility.
- Manages projects to complete in set constraints of cost, quality, and time.
Your profile
The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Mechanical or Electricalmechanical Engineering preferred. Internship experience in a manufacturing industry environment is welcomed. Experience with writing detailed engineering investigative reports detailing results and recommendations required, along with computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or similar drafting software is recommended.
