WHAT WE DO

  • We create moments of exciting action gameplay, ultra-real slices of ambient life, and everything in between for both our story-driven and online game worlds.
  • The games we make span many genres and types of gameplay and have a variety of underlying systems. The AI / Gameplay team brings their wide knowledge of game design, software engineering, gameplay animation and their own personal experiences to make world class games.

  • Produce reports to help with long term planning, organize sprint meetings and follow up on project progress / agreed work, and equally identify and follow up on dependencies with other departments and get them resolved promptly.
  • Liaise with the QA and Build teams to understand and communicate priority issues to Technical Directors/Leads and coordinate structured testing of major new features where necessary.
  • Coordinate grabbing further information on new bugs from QA, deduplicate, and look for patterns in bugs that might indicate a deeper problem.
  • Gather information and resources from the team and collate them for daily and weekly updates on all projects whilst equally producing and disseminating specialist reports to support other departments.
  • Liaise with external departments on behalf of the AI / Gameplay team, keeping lines of communication open around features and requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation from a variety of sources, including meeting notes, design docs, weekly project updates and emails, plus record tutorial and demo videos for feature areas as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

SKILLS

  • Demonstrated ability to write accurate and descriptive bug reports.
  • Proven ability to communicate and comprehend technical information in both written and oral form.

  • Self-motivated and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
  • An eagerness to learn new software and develop skillsets.
  • Strong data management skills.
  • Charismatic and outgoing personality that can engage freely with others.
