Job Description Qualifications:
The Commercial Derivative Support Equipment Team is seeking to add an Associate Product Support Engineerto our growing team in Tukwila,WA. Our team supports all Ground Support Equipment requirements from cradle to grave for commercial derivative programs including KC-46, VC-25B, E-7, and P-8. This position will join our logistics team, responsible for performing a range of activities including development of system and program requirements for Ground Support Equipment, customer interfacing on field issues, and project management from requirements definition through procurement.

Position Responsibilities:
To be successful in this position, the selected candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a positive and flexible demeanor. The responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Researches and provides technical information and engineering data used to produce maintenance and support equipment requirements develop and maintain support products (e.g. support equipment, field services, maintenance procedures, tools, Ground Support Equipment)
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding equipment interchangeability, configuration management, maintainability, and technical data clarification.
• Provides Engineering and on-site technical assistance to ground support equipment, tooling, operations and maintenance facilities.
• Coordinates across functions and business unit to ensure project success.
• Analyze system and maintenance data, particularly avionics and comm systems, to determine ground support equipment requirements.
• Supports meetings and coordination with the US Air Force (USAF) for support equipment development, procurement, and sustainment projects.
• Responds to service requests and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) licensee inquiries, using knowledge gained from learned engineering principles combined with some exposure to practical experience.

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• 1+ years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support or Product Support
• 1+ years of experience with managing projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Ground Support Equipment or Maintenance Tooling experience
• Previous commercial or military aircraft experience
• Experience with systems requirements analysis, management, and validation/verification

Education/experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
