It Production Support

Job Title: Jr Software Developer / Work from Home
SUMMARY
Develop programming code for various new and existing software applications for our large base of clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete programming projects as assigned
• Design, code, test and debug software
• Document software designs and user manuals according to company standards
• Interact with staff of all levels of computer programming understanding
• Investigate and learn new techniques that are needed to support client needs
• Consistently communicate and interact with team members in a professional, cooperative manner
• Take the initiative to take the extra steps to improve code and overall application quality
• Exhibit strong analytical skills that aid in identifying a problem and determining a solution to the problem
• Programmatically manipulate databases
• Identify customer needs for additional services/training and communicate to appropriate staff
• Work with clients to analyze complex problems and generate software modifications to support client needs
• Develop ad hoc reports as requested by clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to function as a team member, as well as independently
• Able to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks and prioritize your work

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Tech School / Work Experience
• 3+ years' experience in software development using object-oriented programming preferred
• Experience working with customers & end users to define requirements and best practices
• Experience with advanced concepts of Excel sheets, Pivot tables, and Flat Files
• Experience with querying databases using SQL

Nice to Haves

• Experience in software development using the Microsoft Stack: C#, .Net 4.5+, .Net Core
• Experience with an ETL products, processes, and data transformations
• Experience with developing user interfaces using WinForms, WPF, or similar
• Experience designing and maintaining relational data structures using code first methodology: Linq, Dapper, and/or Entity Framework, MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

Schedule: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, but may vary depending on client, business, department and deadline needs. Work from Home.
