Job Overview:

The role of the AssociateProduct Marketing Manager is to assist Product Marketing Managers in executing projects within their product offerings. This role is primarily focused on completing Private Label (PL) projects, which includes managing projects from inception through commercialization. This role is integral to the business and works across every function within RectorSeal both internally and externally. A successful candidate must be able to manage cross-functional teams, as well as have the high proficiency to communicate, professionally, and effectively.

This is a hybrid, salaried position and requires an office presence 3-4 times per work week at our Houston Spenwick facility. The work schedule is as follows: Monday through Friday, 8 AM-5 PM.

RectorSeal manufactures and/or distributes a variety of chemical and mechanical products for the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects involving Private Labeling our products for new sales opportunities. Work with sales to develop product specifications and timelines for new product requests.
    • Work in collaboration with Product Marketing, sales, engineering, and quality using the product development process.
    • Work to fulfill ERP requirements including new item setup, packaging requirements, E-commerce data, etc.
    • Work in collaboration with marketing and sales to launch new private-label offerings.
  • Manage current RectorSeal private label offerings, focusing on maintenance, documentation, and standardization of existing PL products.
  • Standardize setup and data within the RectorSeal tools – JD Edwards, PIM tool, etc.
  • Standardize labeling and classification within the marketing tools
  • Develop standardized processes and templates for executing PL projects
  • Develop new product literature, white papers, and sales training material, as needed

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related degree required
  • 1+ years working in a role interacting with Products and/or Product Marketing teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

Skills/Competencies:

  • Ability to understand, assess, and problem-solve by leveraging technical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong critical thinking and business curiosity; ability to drive insights and decisions utilizing multiple inputs and data sources
  • Thrive on changes in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with RectorSeal systems (JD Edwards and PowerBI)

Work Environment

Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. Occasionally, the employee will be exposed to a warehouse environment and will be required to wear appropriate PPE. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 25 lbs. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
