Summary of Duties: Support a broad set of activities across business development, investor solution designs, implementation, and client service. Develop a broad understanding of BlackRock Private Equity Partners’ business and investment strategies. Interact with other departments within BlackRock including Client Management, Investment Management, Risk Management & Quantitative Analysis, Legal, Tax, and Fund Administration. Prepare content for client meetings in close cooperation with senior product strategists. Create marketing material for external and internal use. Develop requests for information and proposals in close cooperation with internal partner departments. Support creation and implementation of tailor-made separate account solutions including investment strategy, governance & cooperation framework, legal structuring, services, and pricing. Support development and launch of new products in the Private Equity space. Prepare client portfolio reviews including quantitative and qualitative portfolio analyses. Develop client communication in close cooperation with client management and support answering of diverse client inquiries.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation including two (2) years of experience in each of the following: leveraging Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce marketing materials and client service collateral; conducting portfolio analysis and market research for client-specific portfolio updates and portfolio construction guidance; serving as key client contact, representing the business, and responding to client needs; engaging with clients and distribution channels to develop product offerings, responsive to client needs; assisting in development and approval of processes for product offerings through engagement with Product Strategy, investment, risk and quantitative analysis, legal and compliance, and product approval committee teams; and utilizing financial accounting statements and investment offering materials as well as performance calculation, attribution, and risk analysis terminology to facilitate information to clients, prospects, and internal partners.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $125,000 – $147,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
