Job Summary
Harris Group is seeking an Associate Mechanical Designer to join our Lynnwood, WA region. We offer a flexible work arrangement with a hybrid work model. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mechanical piping and HVAC designing tasks for industrial, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing systems. The Responsibilities
- Production and basic designing tasks across multiple industries.
- Supporting multi-disciplinary teams to produce a coordinated set of design documents (drawings, P&ID’s, specifications, lists, spreadsheets, etc.) conforming to project standards.
- Perform field surveys, document existing conditions, and/or recommend design solutions.
- Preparation of mechanical design documents including general arrangements, piping plans, HVAC plans, utilities, plumbing, details, notes, and more.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
The Requirements
Associate degree or technology certificate, and 0-3 years of mechanical design or detailing experience.
- 0-3 years of Revit and AutoCAD experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to continue to grow and pursue continued education
- Ability to use a computer and computer software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Revit, Autocad, Plant3D and 3D modeling is preferred
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for the position is displayed below. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000
