Your role at Sephora:
As the Associate Manager supporting Product Operations, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a variety of operations projects, focusing on Merchandising, Inventory Management and Property Development initiatives for both Sephora and Sephora at Kohls’.Reporting to the Manager of Product Operations, you will drive optimizations and work with business partners to advise on the store experience in new project design and strategy, assisting in developing, delivering and implementing retail initiatives and operational handoffs for support tools. You will serve as a subject matter expert, working with partners across the Sephora and Kohl’s organization.  

 

In addition, you will: 

  • Support day-to-day operations of programs, including strategy, cross-functional business partner management, store communication and delivery.
  • Works cross-functionally to launch inventory and merchandising initiatives, partnering with Merchandising, Marketing, Property Development, Store Planning, Inventory/Allocation, Store Communications and Technology.
  • Act as the store expert and thought partner for projects, ensuring decisions support overall operating model and strategy when driving change across the organization. 
  • Drive optimizations for key programs/initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce store workload and maximize productivity, ensuring Policy and Procedure changes can be executed in stores.
  • Manage multiple projects by driving timelines, deliverables, recaps and action plans post-delivery to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop training to ensure store retention for all projects that is supported by the Product Operations Team.
  • Present progress of projects, risks and next steps/mitigation to all levels within the organization.
  • Travel to Sephora stores as needed to check on project process and traction.

  • Four or more years of retail project management experience
  • Strong organizational, time management, and structured problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and willingness to take action with limited information
  • Contributes new ideas and process improvements to finds solutions to business challenges
  • Ability to provide effective feedback to multiple levels of people within the organization
  • Exceptional attention to detail, work ethic, and work product quality
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities with courage to make key decisions independently
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

The annual base salary range for this position is $84,660.00 - $94,620.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
