The Associate Inventory and Cost Analyst will be responsible for analyzing inventory dispensing trends and creating daily purchase orders to maintain optimal levels of inventory for multiple locations and perform various cost analysis. The position will also provide ad-hoc and analytical support to the Finance staff and members of Management.
What You'll Do
- Use a data driven, analytical approach to create multiple purchase orders for inventory ordering and management
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels for multiple locations
- Have up to date knowledge of inventory availability from suppliers
- Calculate product reorder points and days on hand weekly analysis for multiple locations
- Determine if products need to be purchased by other vendors due supply or marginal issues
- Responsible for daily reporting and investigatory analysis of products dispensed at a low margin
- Compare product cost and margin to ensure the best possible option is being purchased
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Strong computer skills including Excel (pivot tables/charts/vlookups)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strict attention to detail and drive to deliver consistently high-quality outputs
- Pro-active and understands sense of urgency
- Ability to work independently as well as in a teamwork environment
- Manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable in a hybrid work environment
- 0-2 years relevant financial analysis, inventory management, and/or purchasing
- Knowledge of analytical principles and practices
- Associate's degree in a business discipline preferred, but not required
