Inventory Cycle Count/Warehouse Associate

Summary

Harvard Bioscience is a leading developer, manufacturer and seller of technologies, products and services that enable fundamental research, discovery, and pre-clinical testing for drug development. We are currently looking for an Inventory Cycle Count/Warehouse Associate. This hybrid position's main focus is Inventory Cycle counting and to track and monitor inventory within the warehouse. Requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination in order to confirm inventory & investigate count discrepancies. Assist with ERP transactions & warehouse duties as directed by supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Inventory

• Perform daily cycle counts
• Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
• Manage product identification, location and lot code accuracy. Research inventory discrepancies
• Manage and improve warehouse storage and organization
• Open cartons, bundles and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantities on hand
• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products

Daily maintenance of workspace including but not limited to; any waste produced, station supply, restocking of materials and supplies, etc.

Manage parts for work orders and alert production manager of shortages.

Assist with other duties as required.

Competencies

• Ability to think critically and problem solve.
• Ability to multi-task and work through several problems.
• Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write and speak fluent English
• Basic Computer Skills required include Microsoft Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook and basic math skills required.
Reliable transportation to work, good attendance and punctuality is

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous cycle count experience highly preferred. Must be able to work onsite in Holliston MA 5 days per week.

Working Environment

• Exposure to production and manufacturing hazards including but not limited to; lift systems, terminals, tools and ladders. Hazards to minor cuts, bruises, potential for electric shock, fumes, dust, noise and exposure to chemicals.
• This position is very active and requires standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing all day.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds of materials.
