A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Acts as a liaison between CDSS, TPT, CC, HCP and Patient/Customer (as necessary) to initiate/coordinate Tandem pump training.
- Documents all activities concerning patient and trainers in CRM to maintain the most current information for enhanced communication throughout the organization.
- Assists CDSSs with requesting “Pump Start Orders” (dosing/settings) from the patient’s HCP and follows up with the HCP’s office to ensure completed form is received prior to training.
- Sends Training Referral (along with copy of completed “Pump Start Orders”) to assigned TPT per CDSS request via confidential fax or encrypted email.
- Keeps records updated in the customer relationship management software (CRM) for all training related updates, including uploading all training documentation from the CDSS, TPT or CC (via mail, email, or fax) into the correct Patient CRM record after it has been reviewed and confirmed that the documentation is complete.
- Audits training records that indicate accomplishment of successful patient pump trainings and investigates reasons for unsuccessful accomplishment, and communicates this to the CDSS.
- Provides administrative support for the management of field pump trainers. (TPTs and CC)
- Maintains contract file of Tandem pump trainer consultant agreements and monitors expiration dates and re-training requirement dates.
- Communicates with CDSS to notify of retraining needs.
- Communicates with TPT to notify of credentialing needs.
- Receives training documentation & invoices from TPT/CC, audits documentation as required to initiate payment processing and monitors/tracks completed payments.
- Follows up with TPT/CC for clarification or corrections on training documents or invoices.
- Interacts with Area RCM and CDS for guidance on technical and training issues.
- Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
- Ability to relate effectively with patients/customers, CDSS/RCM/TPT teams and health care professionals.
- Able to effectively share information regarding issues in written or verbal form and making recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Skilled at promoting team cooperation and a commitment to team success.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple priorities and complete assignments on time and with minimal errors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet with CRM software experience preferred.
- High school diploma.
- Post-secondary school education preferred.
- 2 plus years’ administrative experience supporting multiple people, including field staff.
- HCP office experience with patient interface.
- Experience with high volume transactions.
- Prior Outlook calendar management.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market.
YOU SHOULD KNOW:
Potential new employees must successfully complete a drug screen (excludes marijuana) and background check which includes criminal search, education certification and employment verification prior to hire.
