What You'll Do in This Position
Provide support in the implementation, maintenance, and management of Health and Welfare Plans: Medical, Dental, FSA, HSA, and other voluntary benefits and Disability Plans.
Under direct supervision, provide administrative support services in the area of Benefits. Those support services include, but are not limited to:
- Providing counsel, policy interpretation and administrative services for the consistent maintenance, operation and improvement of all HR site wide programs and practices.
- Help to ensure consistency in the application of policies and practices that relate to HR Benefits.
- Aid in the resolution of job-related employee problems and concerns as it relates to Benefits Administration.
- Perform activities in support of the employee benefits programs and the maintenance of complete and accurate personnel data records.
- Assist in developing HR Benefit Programs and associated special projects that empower individuals to reach their full potential in support of the SRS mission.
SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications We Require
High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential
Other Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SPHR or PHR or a Six Sigma certification.
Qualifications We Desire
College degree preferred.
Possess strong personal computer skills utilizing any number of generally accepted/available software applications to perform word processing, database management, spreadsheet, and graphics functions.
