Designer

Salary Range: $60,000-70,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.

Designer
What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well-loved fashion brands? As a designer for Centric Brands, you’ll use your skills and creativity to create designs based on style plans, sales needs and emerging trends. You will also ensure that your work can be transformed into a finished product in a timely manner and at an appropriate price point. Specific Responsibilities Would Include: The Associate Graphic Designer for our Beauty division supports the seasonal design development process by contributing and preparing for final production design needs.
- Research and identification of graphics trends; contribute themes and concepts; assist in creation of presentation boards for meetings and mock-ups
- Monitor new trends, techniques, treatments and resources in graphic design and production and suggest to Graphic Designer and Senior Graphic Designers
- Contribute compelling graphic deliverables for cosmetic & bath products, illustrations, assist in creation of camera-ready art and color separations
- Aid team as technical and artistic resource and provide knowledge of graphics aesthetics, processes, production methods and treatments; develop and maintain reference library
- Follow-up with internal partners in design and production; assist with interoffice communication and relationships with vendors and manufacturers, as needed
- Partner with Senior Graphic Designer to ensure that graphics/designs do not infringe on intellectual property rights
- Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary
- 3+ years’ experience in graphic design; significant relevant experience in category and packaging design
- Previous experience in Beauty and Bath products
- Expert in Adobe products and Mac computers; highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative
- Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for graphics and fonts; strong ability to sketch
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
