Summary of duties: Use credit, bonds, interest rates, and foreign exchanges to offer a variety of Fixed Income products crafted to meet specific clients risk and return profiles. Manages client flows, constructs portfolios, monitors risk and hedge exposure to implement trading strategies based on clients’ needs and preferences. Analyzes the performance of companies, industries, and countries for Portfolio Managers and clients. Responsible for product development and servicing new and existing products and clients. Provides daily support in the Fixed Income investment process. Provides and analyzes analytics and data for BlackRock to use internally when making investments decisions. Generates financial models. Analyzes and researches for existing and new Fixed Income clients. Manages and amends client accounts. Undertakes sector-based research. Four (4) days in office and one (1) day remote per week
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative and Computational Finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. Two (2) years of experience as a Fixed Income Trader, Quantitative Financial Analyst, or related role. Two (2) years of experience with: trading Fixed Income securities with quantitative pricing and modeling; coding and programming for quantitative financial analysis, including Python and SQL; developing mathematical financial models; balance sheet management; machine learning; and database management.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $150,500 – $156,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
