Job Description
An Associate Engineer with Ironhouse will work on a team to complete engineering tasks and create custom engineering solutions to meet customer needs. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving industry. Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Creating Protection & Control settings designs as part of a larger engineering team
• Performing protection studies and analyses to develop basis documents and relay setting files
• Creating HMI (Human-Machine Interface) settings
• Creating Automation & Integration settings designs
• Designing and configuring operating characteristics of managed switches and LANs
• Reviewing current industry best practices to ensure compliance with cyber security requirements
• Performing any entry level engineering role in the design aspects of engineering projects and assisting other departmental engineers
• Performing on site engineering support when needed

An ideal candidate would possess strong organizational and planning skills and would excel in a team-based environment. The candidate should approach all tasks in a detail-oriented manner, with a strong sense of ownership over all deliverables.
Education

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Knowledge of basic engineering theory, practices, and procedures
