The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Marketing to...

  • Strategize and execute behavioral & lifecycle email programs and on-site micro-conversion campaigns end-to-end with agency including trafficking assets, setting business rules & audience targeting, QA & approval, and monitoring performance
  • Manage the set-up and deployment of complex automated communications within Salesforce (ExactTarget), BounceExchange, and our database provider
  • Own the maintenance of the customer communication roadmap, marketing calendar, and the creation of email briefs. This involves working across various departments in the company including creative, buying, planning, e-commerce, and CRM
  • Track key email metrics such as delivered, open rate, CTO, revenue, conversion rate, RPES, and opt-out rate by various email types and/or segments, establishing benchmarks for each
  • Create & communicate reports (weekly, seasonal, ad hoc, etc.) that analyze findings, identify trends and recommend a course of action
  • Resident expert in the ESP (Salesforce) interface including email coding & set-up, list management, subscriber look-up, reporting, etc. as well as primary contact to resolve issues with Salesforce support in partnership with our agency
  • Proactively resolve problems and roadblocks in order to keep work flow on schedule and escalate higher level conflicts to manager for resolution

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, experience in email marketing required
  • Experience with a large scale ESP is a must; Salesforce (ExactTarget) experience preferred
  • Experience with producing and deploying emails through an email service provider
  • Experience working with a 3rd party email & website personalization partner (i.e. SmarterHQ, BlueCore, BounceExchange, etc.)
  • Google Analytic experience preferred
  • Familiarity with email marketing best practices for revenue generation
  • Knowledge of list segmentation strategies
  • Understanding of email fundamentals: CAN-SPAM, segmentation, list/data extension management, KPIs, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMif statements, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Detail oriented with focus on delivering results
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to partner with multiple cross functional teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
