DUTIES
Insights & Analytics:
· Understands brand/category dynamics in addition to consumer purchase dynamics.
· Manages channel conflict and monitors marketplace nuances.
· Tracks digital shelf to identify new ways to drive brand engagement.
· Influences CMI and brand teams to drive inclusion of e-commerce in insight development.
Go-to-Market:
· Collaborates with the Omni Marketing and Content Production teams to establish brand presence through effective content development and management: brand pages, PDPs, promotional assets briefing, among others.
· Informs cross functional cohort of digital shelf best practices.
· Support the manager with white space opportunities.
· Responsible to prepare sales report and inform back the performance of Costa Farms skus.
Financials:
· Provides commentary to finance for monthly close process.
· Assists in trade spend management.
· Understands impact of innovation to customer P&L.
· Support the manager with promo pricing and analysis of profitability.
Presentation Skills:
· Support the manager on the creation of selling stories to educate/influence division counterparts on best practices and marketplace trends.
· Collaborate with the manager by pulling data from platforms on the development of customer presentations, including monthly e-tailers reports, advertising postmortem, promo analysis, among others.
Customer & Consumer Understanding:
· Understands the role of the retailer in the consumer shopping journey.
· Pinpoints and responds to shifts in consumer shopping behavior.
· Educates brand on the needs of the retailer for product and commercial innovation.
· Creates selling story to align brand and retailer strategies with the consumer at the forefront.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree (emphasis in business, marketing, e-commerce or related field), MBA preferred.
· 5+ years of sales, or marketing experience (marketing operations, brand management, account management, trade strategy, or channel management) with at least 3 years in an eCommerce focused role with a portion of the time working on Amazon.
· Strong project management skills, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional teams
· Analytical skills. Must be able to triangulate data sources to develop actionable insights and recommendations to educate and influence key stakeholders.
· Proactively identifies marketplace trends and shifts in consumer shopping behavior.
· Must be a creative thinker and solution oriented.
· Experienced with Order Management platforms, Smartsheets, Hubspot, e-retailers’ portals.
