Job description

The Opportunity

As the Associate Director, U.S. Marketing Field Operations, you will drive traffic, and ensuring new CSL centers grand openings are successful across the U.S. You will lead a team of four marketing managers across all regions in the country to ensure Marketing plans are tailored to each local market and activated successfully.

Based on market success, you will develop a global (and U.S.) playbook for Field Marketing Activation, to drive consistency and efficiency across Marketing investments while improving overall communication of what the Marketing organization is doing to help drive collections at the center level. You will also lead the relaunch of the Loyalty and Referral program to increase donor retention and reduce attrition.

You will report to the Sr. Director, Marketing.

This position is remote, with up to 50% travel.

The Role

  • Brand Stewardship - Together with the Head of Marketing, serve as a passionate steward, advocate and gatekeeper for the CSL Plasma brand. Ensure the brand is expressed in each local U.S. market with the appropriate local nuances, while always remaining within the guardrails of brand's core global positioning.
  • Retail Marketing Strategy & Planning – Partner with the Marketing Sr Director, Operations, and with CSL's Plasma senior management team to architect an integrated brand and Field Marketing strategy.
  • Field Activation – Lead a team of regional Field Marketing experts, and collaborate tightly with the Operations team internally, to develop and deploy localized Marketing efforts that address both growth opportunities, and situations where CSL Plasma must defend against a competitive soft spot.
  • Donor Experience – Collaborate with colleagues across functions (Marketing, Operations, Business Development) to ensure design and delivery of a compelling in-center donor experience.
  • New Center Openings – Establish and communicate clear and concise strategic priorities to local Operations colleagues in advance of new center openings and maintain strategic priorities to ensure that the promotions and opening events are relevant to target segments and personas for that city, consistent with broader short-term and long-term CSL brand and financial goals, while concurrently delivering awareness, and positive in-center donor experiences.
  • Loyalty and Referral Programs – Work with Marketing Sr. Director, Finance, Operations and other cross functional teams to re-shape and elevate existing Loyalty and Donor Referral programs. Perform donor research to understand benefits and opportunities of existing programs offered by CSL Plasma, key competitors and other industries that can inform path forward.
  • CSL Behring/Plasma Community Programs – Partner with CSL Behring on key community events and programs that foster patient relationships, drives awareness of our end products as well as the impact that plasma donations have in their communities. Lead this program from the CSL Plasma side, while partnering and collaborating with CSL Behring team.
  • Donor Fee Posters and Collaboration – Partner with the Donor Fee Strategy team to ensure that the proper collateral is created for each of the centers. Work closely with the graphic designer to get the internal signage created on a monthly cadence while striving to get the posters out at least two weeks in advance. Work closely with the Field Marketing Managers to ensure the posters are uploaded into the center's marketing folders on iNet. Work closely with the Digital Products Team and the Donor Fee Strategy Team to ensure the accurate communication is sent to the operations field team.

Your skills and experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent combination of education..

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years management experience, including managing employees required.
  • Progressively more responsible positions in a complex organization and experience working in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Franchise, Multi-Unit, Field or Retail Marketing Experience: Relevant sector experience includes Field Marketing within QSR, Retail (online or offline), Entertainment, Financial Services, Wireless, Hospitality, and tiered distribution network product and service businesses.
  • Functional Development: This Field Marketing leader is effective at building teams, and has a proven ability to work collaboratively.
