Associate Director of Training

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Multifamily industry.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in property management.
  • 1 year of AppFolio Experience

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Multifamily industry and its operational aspects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Proficient in using training tools and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in training and development.

Job Functions:
  • Train company on-site employees (Senior Managers, Mentors, Managers, Assistant Managers, and Leasing Agents)
  • Provide one-on-one training and interacted training to company employees
  • Teach classes
  • Manage and mentor a team of Training professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality training initiatives.
  • Evaluate trainers and classes and provide feedback to VP for areas of improvement
  • Assist in the development and design of new training/technology initiatives including but not limited to; documentation, testing, training, coordination, rollout and evaluation. This includes presenting ideas that will enhance the trainee's learning experience.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources in regard to planning, developing and delivering training
  • Participate in development, planning and implementation of company training
  • Work with subject matter experts to collect and collate information that will be designed and developed into learning modules
  • Assist, organize, promote, and deliver specific training programs with individual employees or regions as needed
  • Survey training participants to determine the effectiveness of each training method/program
  • Update and revise current training materials to incorporate changes in policies and procedures
  • Evaluate the training data information
  • Participate as needed in various group meetings, with the ability to take a leadership role if necessary.
  • Maintain current understanding of related industry and training related fields through participation in relevant conferences, seminars and relevant organization activities
  • Perform various projects and assignments.
  • Become an expert in all areas of the company Learning Center including; sales, marketing, design center, and customer service. This will require an in depth understanding of each users job as it relates to C+A.
  • Co-ordinate with various department heads to schedule training for end users.
  • Coordinate training setups needed to perform training.
  • Create and maintain all training documents that relate to C+A
  • Maintain repository of CRM documents library on Tarragon SharePoint Portal.
  • Perform periodic routine training of personnel to increase their basic knowledge of the system in support of end users.
  • Ability to travel if necessary
  • Report weekly and maintain admin up today
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for the Multifamily industry.
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs and develop targeted programs to address them.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Training professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality training initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into training programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Training programs through feedback, metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external training vendors and resources.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on training initiatives and outcomes.
  • Continuously assess and update training materials to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the overall development and growth of the training department.
  • Uphold a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all training initiatives.
