The Associate Director ofSupply Chain Sustainability and Compliance will be responsibile for driving SHI’s sustainable Supply Chain program and provides general environment, social and governance (ESG) program support. You will work with key internal and external stakeholders to develop Supply Chain strategies in alignment with sustainability best practices to support compliance.
This position will report to the Director of Finance Transformation and is required to report to the SHI Bethlehem, PA, SHI Austin, or SHI Somerset, NJ office location in accordance with the SHI Hybrid working model.

- Provide subject matter expertise to business stakeholders on Supply Chain Sustainability-related topics.
- Support Supply Chain Sustainability reporting requirements and customer inquiries.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices including but not limited to Supply Chain.
- Supporting ESG Reporting including Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), EcoVadis.
- Develop and manage team members by setting clear goals while motivating and challenging employees for high performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven experience in an Environmental/Sustainability leadership role.
- Bachelor's/Master's in Sustainability (Environmental and/or Social) or Supply Chain Management or advanced Degree, Finance Compliance
- Professional qualification in Finance or Supply Chain.
- Experience working in consulting practices advising on ESG.
- Direct experience of Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG) Protocol, SBTi, CDP, Ecovadis, and reporting frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of evolving sustainability requirements and standards.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellence in project and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Supply chain due diligence, practices, and methodologies.
- Ability to develop, coach and manage team members for personal and professional growth.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $95,000 - $140,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
